The Viper Pro Waterproof All Leather Boot from Magnum retains the lightweight comfort enjoyed by many from the Viper Pro. However they have added to this a full leather waterproof construction which consists of a waterproof lining and a durable upper. These lightweight materials protect you against wet weather whilst maximising performance and durability outdoors. The full-grain, Magna shield leather shell looks great and provides long lasting durability.
Within this protective boot, Magnum has combined a clarion microfiber collar with ankle protection to create a comfortable and supportive fit which lasts. An EVA midsole cushions the foot whilst an M.P.A.C.T response footbed absorbs shocks and provides additional comfort. A high traction outsole is included to maximise traction and slip resistance over rough terrain types.

Great Duty Boot
I have owned a pair of these for 4 years now and they have been used daily to commute to and from work as a motorcycle boot in all weathers and they have been my daily duty boot put through many situations in all weather's whilst on patrol. I am going to order a new pair as mine are just starting to come apart on the seams of the ankle.
They are comfortable and have served me well and reasonable price for a well used 4yr boot!!

Best boot I have used
Best boots I have bought I have had my first pair for two haft years now get used daily walking about 5/6 miles in them and that's is them just starting to fail and let in water on my right foot only.. inside lining at the heel as well has started to come out as I take the boot off but apart from that these boots are very comfortable ones broken in. Just ordered pair number two.

Mainly purchased for wearing...
Mainly purchased for wearing on my motorbike, but wanted something comfortable when walking. These boots seem to fit the bill, too soon to say how waterproof they are, or how well the leather will cope with gear changes. So far so good.

I have various Magnum boots over the years, side zip, other non waterproof etc and these are my
First waterproof.
First off it took around 50 hours to break them in, the leather at the front easily scuffs so
Polishing them covers it up.
The offer ankle protection which is a plus but summertime your fear are far too hot.
When taking the boots off there is a lip in the inside just above the heal and the integrity is gone in both boots so when you try and take them off your foot gets stuck.
Over all I’ve had these boots around 9 months and would t recommend or buy again.

These are lovely comfortable...
These are lovely comfortable boots. Did not need walking in comfortable from the beginning. They are warm and sturdy. Have only had them on in light rain and my feet were dry but need to have them on when it is very wet. Great boots.

Excellent quality, however these boots are a slightly narrower fit, compared to other magnum boots.
Not made to last 10 minutes.
The plastic eyelets failed during the first dozen times i wore the boots simply by the action of tying the laces and the first time they got wet the leather cracked, peeled and deformed so no waterproofing whatsoever.
Magnums
Standard leather boot have been waterproof so far, took a while to break in as they were quite hard which lead to blisters. After about 6 months the inner lining has come apart on the heel meaning your foot gets stuck in it every time you try to take them off.
Disappointed
Within a couple of months the leather cracked and peeled, also one of the zips failed. Never found the boots to be waterproof. Returned and refunded.
Found much better boots (Aigle) for a similar price.
Super cumfy
Pros- look good, feel good, good quality, waterproof, cushioned outer sole which makes it more bouncy and soft when walking. Can spend 12+ hours in them.
Cons- Stiff and need wearing in for a few hours before going out. Definitely consider zip version as getting them on/off is a bit annoying.
Good boots
Good boots have had them 1 and half years been very comfortable and waterproof. They are now starting split and leak a bit so need a new pair but they have had a lot of use (12 hr shifts 5days a week)

Recently bought these. Jeremy at the Barnstaple store was extremely helpful. Very comfortable boot from the off. Straight into a 10mile hike over wet moorland no wearing in needed, No blisters and dry feet. Happy days!
